"Your KCSE Grade Doesn't Determine Your End" Kuccps CEO Says

Dr. Agnes Mercy Wahome is the first woman in Kenya to become the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS).

The Kuccps is the only body that deals with the selection and placement process of the KCSE candidates who complete their exams to the next levels of education namely the universities and Colleges.

The body has already announced that the Kuccps services will be available in the next three weeks to help students make their career choices well. Speaking to KTN news desk this evening during an interview, Dr. Wahome has urged the candidates who scored different grades as from 'E' to 'A' to apply for different courses.

She added on saying that the KCSE grades do not determine the future end of the students. Dr. Mercy made the remarks during an interview that consisted of Meru University Vice Chancellors Prof. Odhiambo and Riara lecturer Marion Amukuzi who were discussing on the career choices of the students who sat for 2020 KCSE this year and received their results on 10th May this year.
