Fresh Details Emerge About CBC Program As Parents Now Ditch CBC For International Schools

Parents are doing everything to ensure that their children have a better life in the future and also secure lucratpositionstion in the government. Cs Magoha has to face another setback in implementing the Competency-Based Curriculum Program (CBC) in school simply because it is revealed that some of the parents have started enrolling their children in schools offering international syllabus.

According to Cs Magoha, he revealed that those who will complete grade six will have the privilege to join junior secondary and so far several classrooms have been constructed to accommodate the student.

Most of the people perceived that international schools are for wealthy people but the nation media have discovered that things have changed. Parents have started taking their children to International schools simply because they offer CBC, 8-4-4, and their chosen international curriculum.

“The inspiration was feedback from our parents to offer alternatives. We took this on with no compromise on the national curriculum,” Ms. Katya Nyangi, the director of communications at Makini Schools, said.
