CUE has once again revoked Sakaja's degree for the second time, dashing hopes of Sakaja to become city next governor.
According to reports, Team University in Uganda has confirmed that Sakaja indeed enrolled for Bachelor of Science in Management, but it is not Bachelor of Science Management (External) as found in Sakaja's documents.
According to Ntarangwi, the National Council of Higher Education,Team University is authorized to give the Bachelor of Science in Management degree, but not the Bachelor of Science in Management (External) degree.
"In addition, the message from NCHE said that the Team University had confirmed that Sakaja had enrolled in a program Bachelor of Science in Management degree. There was no mention of a Bachelor of Science in Management (External) anywhere in the text," he said.
It will now be waited to be seen if Sakaja will move to Court to challenge the new move by CUE.
DP Ruto's allies had claimed that deep state is behind Sakaja's woes as they have seen they will be defeated in August elections.
