Primary and Secondary schools have been scheduled to take a break from their respective learning institutions for a while.
This is following the new calendar that has been released by the ministry of Education. The students will break for one week starting from next week 1st of October 2021 up to 10th October 2021.
They then will resume classes as from 11th October 2021 for second term up to 23rd December 2021,where they will go for a one week break ( Christmas holiday).
The parents will be also struggling with the new curriculum of Education, the competency - based curriculum which has been a hustle for them.
We really hope that the ministry of Education and the Cabinet Secretary for Education, George Magoha will consider both the parents and their children's grievances and rights.
Following the opposition and mixed reactions that the new curriculum is facing from parents allover Kenya, we hope justice prevails.
