Remember Judge Ian Mbugua From TPF? Meet His Wonderful Wife and Kids In Real Life (Photos)

You cannot talk about Tusker Project Fame and fail to mention Judge Ian. He was a straight-talking and a critic judge who would make contestants hang in the balance the moment he picked the microphone looking straight at the contestant before dropping the dreaded punch. Some of his most known punchlines include: "P-a-t-h-e-t-i-c! You cannot sing!"

Profile Summary.

Ian was born in Kiambu as the third born in a family of three boys and a girl. His mother was a nurse while his father was an education officer who at one time between the late 1960s and early 1970s was posted abroad in London, England, then Bonn, Germany prompting him to live with his son. He attended five primary schools including Park Road Primary School where he sat for his KCPE before proceeding to Lenana School. He later joined Thogoto College where he trained as a teacher taking into the footsteps of his father. Currently, he is teaching drama and music at Brook house International Schools and also managing the school’s state-of-the-art auditorium — Burudani.

Family Life.

He is married to Naomi Mbugua who turns out to be the deputy headteacher of Riara Road Primary School. The couple is blessed with 3 children, two boys and one girl. The firstborn Jeremy a graduate of Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. The second-born Wambui pursued Bachelor of Commerce degree in Kenyatta University and the last born Mbogua a student at Brook house International School.
