Kisii Identical Twin Brothers Defy All Odds To Perform Well KCPE Exams, Give Credit To Their Mother

Two brothers who were born the same time same day by the same mother performed extremely well in the just-released Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) examination despite the challenges presented by Coronavirus.

The two boys sat for the KCPE exam in one of the boarding schools in Kisii county and scored 412 and 415 marks out of 500.

Their mother narrated the twins' story in a video shared by Nation Africa saying the children started schooling as early as when they were two years of age and later joined a boarding school at class six.

"They have always been obedient children. If you don't find them in the house they are always in church." said the mother.

According to the boys, it was difficult especially during the 9 months break when schools were closed because of Covid-19. But they thank their mother who always kept them busy by giving them assignments from school.

"It was a kind of a challenge because there were many destructions at home. I owe it all to our mother who kept us on our toes." said one of the boys called Wayne.
