KUCCPS has done the necessary selections to go to various universities in the country as well as TVET colleges and Teacher Training Colleges across the country.

Many students who had passed well in last year's Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education exams opted to ditch the degree course that they were called to do and instead do diploma programs in various colleges across the country.

Colleges across the country that offer courses related to health and teaching have gained significant praise and many students have joined this.

According to Daily Nation Newspaper this afternoon, after KUCCPS had released the initial list of the various institutions that the students had been called to, some have opted to not go for the degrees and instead go for Diplomas.

5278 students are said to have ditched degree courses and instead opted to go for a Diploma course which are said to be better.
