Kenyans React After High School Students are Allegedly Asked to pay Ksh 10K For an Outrageous Meal Plan

A viral memo from one of the local Murang'a high schools has sparked some wild reactions across the.

According to the letters directed to several parents, 17 students from Mugoiri girls are expected to go back with their parents after they took a meal twice.

The school management through the principal has alleged that several students missed their meals after the students did the heinous act.

However, a majority of netizens have blasted the school head for requesting such a huge amount for a single plate of food.

James... Honestly if this is the kind of leadership we now have in high schools then you know why students are burning schools.

Maina... Was in a similar situation in my high school days, but they claimed that our table isn't legit eti we formed it by ourselves, and it was ours for the whole year, until that day when the cooks had served less with a sufuria.

We were to pay 10kg of maize and 5 of beans, but we went to the D.E.Os office who waived that, but the punishment we received was kupanga mawe ya FH mbili kwa store, kumbe that's where I was to learn the T arrangement of stones..

Martin... I don't understand why parents should suffer for offenses committed by their children. These kids should be punished and that should be final. Why should the parents pay 10k? Why punish the parent instead of the student. Alar!
