Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology has released a memo concerning fake news circulating on social media platforms.
According to a post on Facebook, the university has claimed that there are fake news circulating on social media concerning murder of a male student at Jua Kali area in Kefinco.
According to the memo, it has been proved that the information is fake.
They have also urged the University stakeholders to remain calm as previous incidences of insecurity are being investigated. MMUST management together with county and national Government are doing everything possible to ensure the culprits are brought to book and safety of students is reinforced.
