College Education

Will KMTC reopen in September?

The covid 19 has impact negatively in many sector. Education is one such sector in which it has disrupted almost everything from basic education to institutions of higher learning.

Just weeks after the Ministry of education under Cs Prof. George Magoha announced the likely hood of institutions of higher learning re- opening but under strict guidelines, there have been more worries as to whether these institutions have the capability of following the layed guidelines.

However, Kenya Medical Training College C.E.O prof. Michael Kiptoo, has released a circular advising the various college principals on how the institution will reopen.

The C.E.O goes ahead to explain the steps and measures that the principals ought to take in order to ensure the safety of the students.

Do you think it's the right time to open this institution given the fact that, most of these students usually interact with various patients in hospitals and also covid-19 numbers are in the rise in the country?
