The teachers service commission has now revealed that teachers in the country don't know how to manage funds. The commission said several teachers have been interdicted due to their behavior after taking loans. They usually fail to service them and therefore desert duty for almost a month
The commission teamed up with the solution Sacco to educate teachers on financial management skills. The Sacco intends to train all teachers in the country in how to manage funds. It said if funds are managed properly then there is a possibility of progress.
Several teachers have undergone depression due to poor management of money. The skills to be imparted in the course will be of great impact according to the commission.
It's not yet clear if the Sacco will give free education or teachers will be forced to pay for the services. As for now, there is no communication on payment program.
We wish all teachers the best. Thanks
