While speaking in speaking in Mwongori high school, Raila Odinga joined Cs Fred Matiangi and Mutahi Kagwe in giving ksh 100,000 each which will be used to buy children bread.This amount totalled to ksh 300, 000 .
The student requested the politicians who visited their school to buy them bread. Some of the leaders who had attended the event include Raila, Matiangi, Kagwe Mutahi, Ongwae, Eugene Wamalwa, Ben Momanyi , to name a few.
All this leaders had attended the event so as to contribute money which would help the school build an administration block for the students. According to Mutahi Kagwe the students are the future leaders thus it is good for leaders to help them when they can.
Kagwe emphasized on the importance of education stating that it is the one that helped him to know what COVD-19 is. He further called for leaders to remain united and focused.
