The Misery of Campus Life

Hunger, broken relationships, drug and substance abuse, poor exam results and depression often takes center stage in the Kenyan campus. This is often rife when the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) delays in the disbursement of funds to the students. The main cause of alarm and worry for campus students is often finding something to eat.

In shocking circumstances, most students end up using loaning apps to get their daily bread. This has been the reason why young campus girls often date older married men, almost the age of their parents for monetary gain as the boys go on dates with old women.

Many lives have also been lost to drug and substance abuse and strikes and demos. Drug dons also find it easy to use university students to sell their drugs to learning institutions. Some of these drugs may be illegal. Without proper care, caution, and fear of God, campus life can be described as hostile.
