Teachers Receive Good News After TSC Finally Effected The Transfers Of 14,613 Teachers.

After the Instructors Service Commission (TSC) has completed the transfers of 14,613 teachers, delocalized teachers will have reason to celebrate. 14,733 applications were submitted to TSC last year.

According to TSC CEO Dr. Nancy Macharia, out of the 14,733 transfers, 14,613 have already been made, while the remaining 120 transfers were unable to find replacement matches.

10,934 of the 14,613 teachers who transferred, according to TSC, were from primary schools. There are 1,948 head teachers and 189 deputy head teachers.

TSC has moved 226 principals and 1,316 teachers from the secondary sector.

"On January 16, all teachers and deputy headteachers must report. The goal of this letter is to request permission to mail the memo and the list of teachers to be transferred among regions.

Dr Nancy Macharia directed all the Regional Directors to coordinate and ensure that the process is carried on as scheduled.

She added that all teachers whose transfers have been approved are released to avoid delays that may tamper with smooth running of school programmes.
