While 2020 KCSE students are eagerly waiting for admission letters from various universities and colleges, other universities have already provided their academic calendar for the academic year 2021-2022 .
Students are expected to join universities they were admitted beginning from from 3rd September up to October depending on the university calender.
Students joining Kenyatta university admission will be done online as from 5th of September up to 5th of October where they will join for face to face this is due to corona virus situation in the country where the ministry encouraged phased reopening for universities with high number of students.
For the case of mount Kenya University the reporting dates are as shown in the photo attached below.
Learners are urged to prepare all the necessary documents required in the registration process, they are as follows;-
1.Original academic documents that is KCSE result slip and admission letter.
2.Birth certificate (for those under 18 years )or National ID
3.NHIF card and dully filled medical form which will help the institution known your health
4.Pay all the fees for the first semester and carry with yourself the original banking slip during the admission day since no one will be admitted with any fees arrears.
This explains why students should prepare as early as possible to get all the requirements to avoid late rush, students who come from poor families ate urged to apply for HELB loans so as to fund their academics.
