During the presidential campaigns one of William Ruto's goals was to review the CBC curriculum which many of his supporters said was stressing them. Parents from different parts of the country asked him to do away with the new curriculum because it was wasting their time and was also expensive. Ruto promised to make some changes in the new curriculum and true to his words he has started making them.
In his last press address Ruto said that he was going to make the changes as soon as possible so that no parents will not have to complain again. In his statement Ruto said he will reduce the amount of homework parents do so that they will not be stressed again.
"On CBC I hear parents are doing homework till 2am in the morning and women complain wondering what time will other things be done. We will reduce the homework done by parents." Ruto said.
The CBC was introduced to replace the old education system which was said to be outdated. Some people however disagreed with the new system because of it complicatedness.
