Schools have been closing in the country in the recent few days under unclear circumstances a few days after the students reported back to school for the second term of 2021 school calendar.

Kenyans have witnessed schools dormitories burn down due to fires whose source cannot be explained and students having to be sent home.
This morning, Kericho Boys High School is the latest victim of having to close the school down due to student unrest.
According to multiple reports, Kericho High School has seen students go on a rampage this morning and destroy school property.
The reason for the unrest in the Boys High School is still unclear but the school will close indefinitely in the next few hours.

The students are said to have damaged several windows in the school compound this morning.
Yesterday, a neighboring school, Kericho Tea Boys High School went on strike as well and the institution had to close it down.
