What the Ministry of Education said has changed the course of National History.
According to Ezekiel Machogu, the Cabinet Secretary for Education, the ministry rarely administers three national exams at once.
The CS also stressed how crucial it was for the nation's testing to be launched by a Deputy President.
"The history of today has been formed by two distinct forces. A Deputy President has never presided over the start of a test. Three exams are also being taken at the same time. Another significant alteration has occurred " He said.
Three national tests, including the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education, will be given this year by the government.
The Grade Six test and the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE), which will be used to determine how the pupils move on to junior secondary schools, are two extra exams that are provided in primary schools.
The three tests were each launched by DP Rigathi Gachagua.
