Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service is a government partnered organization that is responsible for placement of Kenyan students in public universities and colleges once the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education results are realesed. It ensures free and fair placement without any corruption. Students are placed according to their performance and cut off points. Any student who has difficulty in application please follow these guidelines.
This can be done through the KUCCPS portal or one can click on KUCCPS website.You will be required to input your details to be logged in.So on entry to the website kindly click the Login option. Having clicked on that you will be required to type in your KCSE number, type your exam year and finally type your password which is basically your initial password and please use your birth certificate number or your Kenya Certificate of Primary Education index number.
Having correctly and accurately entered your details you will get to be logged in and will be in position to place your application. You will be able to see all the courses from the programs menu. Kindly compare the cluster points and the cut off points before making your selections. Then u can select your courses of interest. Input the 7 digit course code from your courses of interest.Finally click on the application or revision tab to submit the application.
Kindly go ToolKit for the M-PESA menu on your phone and click on the Paybill. Input the Paybill number 820201 with your four digit exam year followed by your index number as the account number.eg 2014XXXXXXXXXX. Enter amount Ksh 1500 for first time application and Ksh 1000 for revision followed by your Mpesa pin then send. Please keep the Mpesa transaction code for further use.
