President Museveni Announces Reopening Of Schools And Religious Centres

The Coronavirus pandemic continues to wrec havoc all over the world where countries have partially shut down their economies in an effort to contain the pandemic.

The republic of Uganda and east Africa at large has not been spared either with president Yoweri Kaguta Museveni's adminstration continuing to report huge number of new COVID-19 cases.

And now, senior press secretary to president Yoweri Kaguta Museveni Mr Don Wanyama has taken to social media to reiterate new COVID-19 measures that have been announced by president Museveni.

The Ugandan head of state has announced that schools will reopen in Uganda on 15th next month (October). Candidate classes in primary schools and high schools will resume, same to final year students in colleges and universities.

In addition, Museveni has also announced the resumption of religious activities where private and collective worship sessions will resume. However, the sessions should not exceed 70 people. Night prayer sessions also remain suspended.
