The Corona epidemic has halted a variety of activities in our country such as education sector. University students lamented the pain as they wondered if they would actually graduate. Recently President Uhuru ordered the immediate suspension of face-to-face learning at all tertiary institution, which eventually led to the closure of universities.
Many Students complained that online learning has become a major challenge to them because they are not favourable, most of them are in a rural areas with no internet connection. In addition online learning requires internet data bundle which may not be afford by most them because of economic crisis in the country.
So far, we have seen an unexpected pattern due to covid-19, they are many affected number of people daily according to health department. This clearly shows that it is not safe to completely open the world.
So in my opinion, I suggest that it will be necessary if the government plans to reopen universities in shifts in order to complete one semester. Also issue of social distance will be addressed easily first-year students must be given first priority
