Today on his Twitter account, Alai has allegedly revealed how Kenyan schools are exploiting parents. He has blamed teachers for promoting corruption.
"The threats and intimidations teachers are using to get money from parents is just alarming. It is teachers who allow and promote this vice and we expect it to end." He lamented.
This has elicited mixed reactions from a section of Kenyans. Here are some of the reactions.
T. @Terrymusa. My nephew is in form three, I pay his school fees and support him with all the basics at school. But am against the motivation fee. It is a responsibility of both a teacher and student to perform. I don't see the reason why a teacher should ask a parent to pay motivational money.
King James @jaduaqs. It is really funny. It just happened to my son's school.

In my view if schools are charging parents this kind of money forcefully it is wrong. What is your as a parent?
