KUCCPS is a body mandated with placement of students in tertiary institutions across the country. The portal is currently open as from 19th May 2022 and will remain active for the next fourteen days. All 2021 candidates are eligible to apply for this year's placement.
Applicants can log in into the portal using their KCSE index number as username, enter their year of study and use their birth certificate number or primary school index number as the password.
One important factor in placement is the cluster points in every course. The cluster points is the score factor that shows your rank in a given field.
It is based on the scores in the individual subjects required for that particular course. To qualify for placement you must meet the minimum threshold for the given course.
Applicants should note that they are unable to calculate the cluster points on their own and the threshold for individual courses vary every year.
