Govt to Send Education Officials To Inspect Several Private Schools in The Country

Competency based curriculum was introduced in the country by the government of president Uhuru Kenyatta. Furthermore, the president Uhuru Kenyatta recently revealed that the government has invested billions of money to make sure that the new system of education is successful. The government has so far build more than 8000 classrooms for Junior secondary.

According to the source, Ministry of Education has broke the silence this morning and send a strong message to all private schools. Through the statement shared by Daily Nation, the ministry of education has finally announced that it will conduct general inspection in all private schools. All private schools in the country are required to build well designed classrooms with enough spaces like those the government have built.

This is a huge blow to private schools who will fail to follow all guidelines of building Junior secondary School classrooms because the Ministry of education may end up not approving them.

This just comes in as the pioneer of competency based curriculum are currently at grade 6 and will proceed to junior secondary schools next year after sitting for their final exams.
