Abiud Kipkurui from Lessos area in Nandi county has reasons to smile and thank his God after his dream to join Kapsabet Boys High School appear to have come through.
The young promising boy, from a humble background, who according to reports appear to have been struggling in his primary education scored 430 marks in the recently released KCPE results, where he was ranked position 7 nationwide.
It is alledged that Nandi county Governor Wakili Stephen Arap Sang had promised to sponser Kipkurui up to form 4 at, but Eguity Bank through its Wings to Fly sponsorship Program cheaped in and took up the role from the governor.
Kipkirui's parents who are living in the hills of Keben village in Nandi Hills constituency, are languishing in poverty, and they thank Equity Bank for cheaping in to help their son achieve his dream.
Kipkurui is now set to join form one come next month, at Kapsabet Boys High school which is among the top ranked national schools in the country.
