Masinde Muliro University is an institution of higher learning situated in Kakamega county. Over the years, the campus has grown rapidly. The campus hosts students from different parts of the country but mostly luhyas.
Today brings good news to the Masinde Muliro University because a new Vice Chancellor has been appointed to lead the campus. Professor Solomon Shibairo is the new Vice Chancellor of Masinde Muliro University. Shibairo is a former Deputy Vice Chancellor in charge of academics and students affairs Kibabii University.
Professor Solomon Shibairo has been the acting Vice Chancellor Masinde Muliro University since July last year. These are great news because Masinde Muliro University has not been having a Vice Chancellor since Asenath Sigot left. With the experience that Shibairo has in managing students acquired from Kibabii University, it is believed that he will take Masinde Muliro University to greater heights.
All eyes are now on Shibairo to see what he is going to do to Masinde Muliro University.
