Several people are feared dead after a bus rolled several times at Josa, Taita Taveta county.
According to an update by Sikika Road safety, the bus was carrying teachers from memon school who were coming from the burial of one of their own.
Their colleague died last week and they went for a burial in Kidaya.
As per now, the exact number of people who perished in the accident is not known. Details on what led to the tragic accident remain unclear.
The area is known as a black spot and many accidents have occured in the past since the road is hilly, meandering and very risky for drivers who are not well conversant with it. It is suspected that the driver might have lost his breaks.
Rescue efforts are still going on at the scene of the accident.
