Kenya Certificate for Primary Education (KCPE) and Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) have officially kick off this morning. More than 2 million learners are expected to sit for these exams. This is also the time pioneer CBC learners are sitting for Grade Six Exams.
Distribution of exams have been done and so far nothing wrong has been reported concerning examination. Students are currently sitting for mathematics paper. They Will thereafter sit for English before they write English composition. Several cabinet secretaries have been overseeing distribution of exams papers. Education cabinet secretary Ezekiel Machogu is leading the team of top government officials in monitoring the exams.
Government has these morning deployed choppers in distribution of exams in Garrisa county. According to information that has been seen by these writer government has deployed choppers in areas of Balambala, Liboi, Fafi and Hulugho. This is because of insecurity in the areas as well as impassable roads.
