This is just the latest confirmation that the cost of Unga will eventually come down at an exponential rate. It's obvious that Kenyans have suffered heavily due to high cost of Unga and other commodities since the tenure of Uhuru Kenyatta and and during the tenure of president William Ruto.
The Cabinet Secretary in the Ministry of Agriculture wants Kenyans to know that they will import maize to cure the shortage. The government is also expecting a bumper harvest after investing heavily on production specifically on fertilizer.
This is good news to Kenyans mostly hustlers who have been grappling with high cost of food especially Unga. The move to reduce the cost of farm inputs is obviously a major milestone.
