According to Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka, President William Ruto ought to rename the Hustler Fund.

Given that the program has a national focus, Kalonzo argued that the name shouldn't contain the word "Hustler."
"Since Hustler is a national subject, I wouldn't want to exploit it if I were the president. Where is the Hustler Fund's legal foundation, as you refer to it?" He queried.
During an interview with NTV, he was speaking.
Kalonzo questioned how Ruto anticipated that "the term Hustler" would be used by the opposition in the National Assembly to promote the fund.
"If that happens, I would want to change the title. The same applies. If there are any awards to be given, they will come your way" He added.

The Hustler Fund was established on November 30, 2022, with the express purpose of assisting local small-scale traders. The Fund offers four loan types: start-up, personal, microbusiness, and SME loans. Ruto is slated to introduce yet another product from the Sh50 billion fund in February.
