Is Naivas Supermarket On It's Death Bed? Court Block's Selling Of Naivas As Family Squabble.
Family squabbles has rocked Kenya's leading retailer Naivas Supermarket and this is something that saw the matter in question which is control of the supermarket being taken to court and this saw the court blocking the sale of Naivas Supermarket.
Kagira is the elder son of the founder of Naivas Supermarket Mr. Peter Mukuha Kago who died in 2010.
In the court case Mr. Kagira accused his brother David Kimani who is the managing Director of Naivas of locking out of the business and disinheriting him.
In the application, Mr. Kagira challenged his brother Kimani's shareholding which be claim's he illegally allocated himself 20% of the shares.
