"Tutaleta Mahindi Kutoka Nje Ya Nchi" Rigathi Gachagua To Farmers Holding Maize

The entire Kenya Kwanza Alliance coalation is currently in Gilgil for a national youth service pass out parade. The president is the guest of honour for the ceremony where several graduates will emerge from their training camp.

The deputy president of Kenya Rigathi Gachagua has given the government position on importation of maize. He was keen to note that farmers should sell their maize at the current price before they import maize in a few months to come.

He was keen to note that prices will go down and farmers will experience loses if they do not sell their harvest in time. He highlighted that Kenya kwanza Alliance coalation government is ready to walk with farmers and ensure that they are protected against foreign markets.

This is a confirmation of Moses Kuria sentiments where he had earlier stated that maize will be imported to help deal with hunger in different parts of the country.
