NHIF Woes Continue With Increasing Hard Economic Times For Kenyans, Releases These Worrying Details

The National Hospital Insurance Fund has in recent times faced hard economic as harsh times continue to ravage the Kenyan populace. Many Kenyans have been unable to remit their monthly payments to the hospital fund complicating it's financial capability.

NHIF chief executive officer Dr Peter Kamunyo has revealed that about 5 million Kenyans have stopped paying monthly contributions to the hospital insurance fund.

" We have incurred heavy losses after almost 5 million members failed to submit their monthly dues and close to half of our members became dormant" CEO Dr Kamunyo revealed.

The hospital fund has been under serious challenges with the management saying more Kenyans have defected from the national fund, with the organization failing to recruit more people onboard.

The Standard Media Group has confirmed that NHIF woes have escalated after several accounts went mute and dormant throwing the giant health insurance fund into more financial problems.
