Carbonated Drinks

The Only Countries That Do Not Sell Coca Cola Drinks

Coca Cola can be found in more than 200 countries in the world. It is actually quite difficult to think of a country where it is not available. Even in countries where the coca cola company doesn't manufacture Coca Cola, many entrepreneurs will import it from neighboring countries. There are two countries where you won't find the carbonated drink in store, at least officially. Due to ongoing trade embargoes and sanctions, there are currently no legal avenues to buy Coca Cola in Cuba and North Korea. Cuba and North Korea are both under long term US trade embargoes (Cuba since 1962 and North Korea since 1950). Cuba was actually one of the first three countries outside the US to bottle Coke, in 1906.

As of August 2022, Russia has been added to the list where you cannot find coca cola. The reason behind this is the United States embargo that prohibits US companies from doing business with Russia.
