For several days on end, the economy has been unfavourable to most of the Kenyans as the price of various commodities have been rising with each passing day. What pains Kenyans the most is that the commodities whose prices are rising are essential commodities that one can hardly survive without.
Some of the commodities whose prices have been rising include: maize flour, wheat flour, bar soap, rice and cooking oil. Maybe for the record I should also include the price in fare on the roads.
However, the government through the cabinet secretary of Agriculture, Peter Munya announced that there shall be a slight reduction in the prices of maize flour so that Kenyans would be relieved of the hefty maize flour prices. Little did Kenyans know that the slight reduction in the price of maize flour was indeed as slight as only 2 Kenyans shillings.
The announcement by the CS on Tuesday June 28th was met by a lot of criticism from Kenyans who viewed it as a big joke since the burden of buying "unga" would still bee felt on the common mwananchi.

What are you comments on the government's move to reduce the price of maize flour by 2 shillings?
