Naivas In Family Dispute Over Billions

The supermarket landscape is again in shaky grounds as another supermarket chain is facing upheaval as family wrangler threatens to destabilize Naivas. This problem is because of the sale of a small stake in the supermarket chain, amounting to 6 billion shillings.

Cases related to these wrangles have been in court for years, and recently the high court blocked any further stake sales in the firm. The current CEO of Naivas wants to be ousted by his eldest brother as the wrangles enter high gear.

These internal squabbles are always an indicator of a major downturn in supermarket chains, an example being Mulleys supermarket chain which recently had to close down.

So many jobs are normally affected when these supermarkets have to close down,, and we are hoping that Naivas will try their best not to head in this direction.

The eldest brother, Mr. Newton Mukuha alleges that he has been locked out of the business and disinherited. This is especially sad considering that all these wrangles began when Mr. Kago the Naivas Supermarket founder passed on.

Newton alleges that the shares allocated to him at his father's death are not what he has, with others in the family taking control of them. He alleges that he has not had any company benefits for a period of 30 years despite contributing 20% of the seed capital to start the famous supermarket chain.

We will be watching as this situation progresses but we hope that the family will be able to sort this out and ensure that the supermarket chain remains a success.
