The One Kenya alliance (OKA) have asked the Mt Kenya Tycoons to rally behind them in the race to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta.
The OKA chiefs who were coming face to face with the Mount Kenya Foundation to market their agenda for the President’s turf, said they will provide a secure political environment for their business to thrive if elected.
“At OKA, our vision is simple. An all-inclusive nation where no one is left behind,” said Kalonzo.
” We want you to believe in our plans, we want to give everybody an opportunity to prosper. give us that chance to serve you,” he added.
Having served under President Mwai Kibaki, Kalonzo said that he was in the development and progress that was achieved during the tenure of the country’s third president.
“We should embrace the big industrialists and embrace the small business person. We should work together so that the pride of Mt Kenya can come back. This is what one Kenya Alliance stands for,” Mudavadi said
He further stressed the need to elect a leader who will be willing to accept results and bring the country together.
The former Lugari MP, who for the first time spoke as one of the One Kenya Alliance principals, insisted that the MKF team should not isolate other candidates but instead allow everyone to sell their agendas.
“Let’s us go to the ground, you people must not have a preferred candidate,” he said.
