
The president and his team have already landed in the coastal town of kwale where they were warmly received by the locals who are happy for his arrival since he iss about to launch one of the most awaited industries in the area.

Ruto's chopper making its way in the area a few minutes to 1 p.m. in the company of former area governor Salim mvurya together with his personal assistant farouk kibet and the current area governor who was elected on a United democratic Alliance ticket.
This is the first public engagement that the president is having with the local since he was elected as president of the area in an election that saw a majority of coastal residents vote overwhelmingly for him in the August polls.
Ruto is overseeing the official opening of devki company which is expected to boost the economy of the County with several job opportunities expected to come up and the local set to benefit from the opportunities.
