Kenya Power the Country's electricity transmission and distribution company by law is allowed to periodically interrupt the power supply. The interruptions are necessitated by various reasons including changing electric poles, adding new customers to the grid, and maintenance.
According to the company, its key values include, putting customers first as they matter most. Secondly working together as one team to achieve goals.
At the same time, Kenya power says, they are passionate about powering the nation. And they believe in integrity and delivering on their promises.
With that said, the company would like to inform its customers that tomorrow Wednesday 23, August 2021 several areas of the country will be affected by the scheduled maintenance.
The grid works will affect the counties of Nairobi, Machakos, Kisii, Migori, Tharaka Nithi, Meru, Embu, and Kilifi Counties.
Power interruptions will occur between 9 am to 5 pm depending on the company's schedule.
