Gideon Moi's Son David Who Practices Potato Farming In Kenya

Here is the story of Baringo Senator Son who has decided not to follow his father's footsteps in politics but to start farming business which has really thrived in Kenya. Eldest son of Gideon Moi, James David Kimoi Moi, studied civil engineering and even securing a job but he still decided to pursue potato farming.

He graduated with a degree in civil engineering from University Of Exeter, United Kingdom. He studied his Secondary School education at Harrow School in London.

He left the famed career and started potato farming, currently he is the director of Agrico East Africa Company which is the most elite potato seed companies in the country. The company imports 200 to 300 tonnes of potatoes seeds annually from Netherlands and selling in Kenya at higher rates.

Their objectives is to bring certified seeds in Kenya because Kenyan farmers always reuses potatoes harvested from their farms as seeds hence poor production.

Also is the director at Kongoy Farm, family company doing large scale farming in Rift Valley.
