Good News To Kenyans After Agriculture CS said The Following Concerning High Cost Of Unga

The high cost of food commodities in the country has resulted to suffering which has affected majority of people who are living below the poverty level or in environment with harsh climatic conditions.

Responding to public demands, Cabinet secretary in charge of agriculture has said that the government is working day and night to ensure that the rising cost of maize flour will be reduced within the shortest time possible.

Two kilograms of unga is currently retailing at ksh 220 which is nearly 100% up from the initial cost which was ksh 120, also cooking oil and petroleum products are among the essential goods whose prices has risen up to a limit that majority cannot afford.

This comes as the country is approaching one of the most competitive general election and this has made Kenyans to accuse their leaders of remaining silent when they are being exploited.
