Good News For Nyanza Residents As President Ruto Promise To Revive The Cotton Industry (Video)

The president today, 2nd of October, received an overwhelming and heroic reception in Homabay county. After attending a church service at AIC in Homabay town, the president took his message of peace to the residents of Homabay county within the streets of Sofia estate.

While delivering his speech, president Ruto expressed his gratitude to the large crowd of residents who surrounded his motorcade. All the Nyanza leaders who accompanied the president were given chance to address the mammoth of crowd.

When given the chance by the president to adress the crowd, the former governor of Kisumu county, Jack Ranguma, requested president William Ruto to enhance economical development within Nyanza region.

The Kisumu Ex-governor pinpointed the idle Cotton factory that stopped working decades ago. In response to Ranguma's request, president William Ruto promised the Homabay residents that he is going to initiate the revival of the cotton industry from tomorrow.

"Ranguma you should not be worried. The issue of BT cotton I will pass it to the cabinet tomorrow." president Ruto stated.
