His Excellency President William Ruto is expected to launch the Hustler's Fund today. The move is set to effect one of his manifestos with regard to empowering both small scale and large scale businessmen and women across the country.
On his arrival at the Green Park Terminus where the funds will officially be launched, the Head of State interacted with several traders who were selling a variety of their commodities including roasted and boiled maize, sugarcane among other stuff.
Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, Trade Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria, Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi, Nairobi county governor Johnson Sakaja and other top dignitaries were all present.
While interacting with the hustlers, Ruto made an encounter with a man who was selling sugarcane cuttings. He engaged the trader about his businesses to the extent where he asked about the value of his stock. The trader answered the President saying that his stock approximates to Ksh 3, 000 and he manages to earn at least Ksh 800- Ksh 1000 daily.
At this point, the President was elated and saluted the man with satisfaction that his profits are okay based on the amount of his stock. Watch the video via the link below:
