President Uhuru Kenyatta ranked fourth wealthiest person in Kenya. Here is top five

The latest data from Wealth-X has placed the current president of Kenya Uhuru Kenyatta fourth in the list of wealthiest persons in the country, the data that was published today by Business daily newspaper revealed that the head of state has wealth adding up to Ksh. 60 billion spread out in various fields including banking industry, manufacturing industry, telecommunications industry and other industries.

Sitting first in the list was industrialist Sameer Naushad Merali who has a net worth of Ksh. 89.6 billion. The industrialist is the heir to the late businessman Naushad Merali who had investments in various industries across the country.

Third in the list is Bhimji Depar Shah who is the founder of Bidco Group of companies who had a net worth of Ksh. 85 billion, Bidco Group of companies deal in various products including manufacturer of plastics, soap, cooking oil and other essential products.

Jaswinder Singh Bedi sits at third with a net worth of Ksh. 77.1 billion, Bedi deals in textile manufacturing and he is followed by Uhuru Kenyatta who sits at fourth. Fifth in the list is the owner of Ramco Group Rambhai Patel who has a total net worth of Ksh. 48.7 billion. According to Wealth-X, these are the top five wealthiest persons in Kenya.
