The Equity Bank has finally cleared the air on the alleged connection between Ruto's Turkish aide Harun Aydin and the 15 billion loan saga.

Members of Parliament had earlier summoned the Equity Chief Executive Officer in connection with Harun's alleged loan linked to the Dp's phone call.
Finally, Equity has denied any involvement with the deported Turkish investor linked to the Deputy President over the alleged large sum of money. Gerald Warui, the bank's managing director, revealed on Wednesday that Harun Aydin has no loan or account with Equity Bank.

Warui stated before the National Assembly Finance Committee that Aydin does not operate or have any banking relationships, and that he does not have a loan with Equity.
Harun Aydin was deported to Turkey, according to the Interior Cabinet Secretary, after the country linked him to terrorism and he was as well reported to associate himself with people involved in money laundering.
