Kenya Power and Lightning Company (KPLC) is the government parastatal that is in charge of regulating power and electricity consumption across the country. The citizens have to make some payments in order to enjoy the tokens from the company.
KPLC has this evening sent a crucial notice to four counties from Western region to prepare for the power blackouts as from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Kisumu County that is under the leadership of Governor Anyang Nyong'o will have power blackouts in Miwani, Kibigori, Kondele and Migosi areas. Kisii county will experience power blackout in areas such as Suneka, Igonga and Gensoso.
Trans Nzoia county will experience power blackout at at Kitale town and Endebes. Nyamira county will experience power blackout at Mosocho, Oyugis and Tombe.
In conclusion, the KPLC will be carrying out system maintenance and repair and as a result, the esteemed customers have been notified to prepare for the same.
