Kenyans inhabiting distinguished local and regional destinations can now breathe with a sigh of relief after the prices of electricity in the country reduced exponentially.
With regard to the newly released electricity pricing schedule for the month of February, Kenyans will now be accessing electricity at cheaper prices after an extended period of acquisition of the product (electricity) at high prices.
The prices of electricity have shot down by a remarkable 2.9 per cent; from Ksh26.39 per Kilowatt-hour it was retailing at in the month of January to Ksh25.63 in the month of February.
Kenyans citizens consuming 50 Kilowatts per hour are now paying Ksh 1,281.4, down from Ksh 1,319.61 in the month of January. Those consuming 100 Kilowatts per hour will now be paying Ksh 2,562.9 in the month of February, down from Ksh 2,639.22 in the month of January.
