The Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi has urged CS Moses Kuria to stop speaking on matters maize importation because it's not part of his docket. According to Musalia, the only Ministry that knows the amount of Maize that ought to be imported into the country is the Ministry of Agriculture.

CS Moses Kuria had previously threatened to import GMO maize into the country to cover the shortage. The issue has however been challenged by CS Agriculture who has distanced himself from CS Kuria's utterances terming them hot air and Inconsequential.
According to Musalia Mudavadi, the Ministry of Trade must focus on matters investment because that's their docket. He is clear that Kuria needs to enroll for lessons about trade instead of embarrassing Ruto's administration with toxic discussion which is not in his docket.
Musalia Mudavadi has ordered the Ministry of Agriculture to address the issue of Maize and explain whether we should import or not immediately. He has urged CS Kuria to zip his mouth and stop vomiting threats and intimidation to farmers.
