Kenya Tea Development Agency candidates directors have had difficult times, they have done several campaigns to enable them spread their wonderful agendas in order to top in the list after the election to be done by tea farmers. The candidates had presented their agendas to tea farmers and the tea farmers propaply had decided who to vote for when the election day comes.
Due to court orders several elections days have been postponed due to court orders. The goods news which have re-energized the candidates who had almost lost hope is that, in two weeks time election of directors will be held. This is as per the court orders when judges gives Kenya Tea Development Agency green light hold election of directors.
Small and large scale tea farmers have urged the incoming new elected directors to consider their needs. The level of tea production has greatly depreciated due to lack of fertilizers. The directors should organize for the importation of the required fertilizers to help farmers' tea increase in quality and quantity.
Tea transportation from the tea buying centers should be improved so that tea leaves arrive at the factory ,on time, for processing while having good quality which enables to fetch high prices. Please like comment and share for more information coming.
