The robbery happened in the wee hours of after midnight. This is when the robbers arrived at the billionaire’s home ready to cause havoc. However, police claimed the scene immediately before they cause the unpredictable. The gangs were lucky enough after they escaped the police wrath and moved towards the bushes of Karura Forest.

The security officers who were three of them had been tied up with ropes as the goons proceeded to disarm the Administration Police officer who was on duty. After disarming the security guards and the AP police then they proceeded to the billionaire’s house ready for robbery. This news was confirmed by Rashid Yakub who is the County Commander. “They stole his G3 rifle but it was later recovered,” Yakub stated.

Police have taken control over the scene in a calculated move to carry out investigations. The police have already arraigned the three security guards and the AP officer in Muthaiga Police Station to question them on what happened behind the scenes. However, it is good news as the robberies did not cause harm to the lives of individuals. The police report indicates that the family had lost cash and valuables to the escaped gang. It is alleged to have escaped with gold and jewelry of unknown value and another Sh. 600, 000. Police are now in pursuit of the escaped gangs.
